About the DAPPLE Project

DAPPLE means:

Developing effective service models for
Adult
Palliative and end of life care for
People with a
LEarning disability.

It is a 3-year research study (2024-2027). We want to find the best ways to make sure that people with a learning disability get the right care and support at the end of their lives.

We will work together with lots of people to try and get this right. This includes:

  • People with a learning disability

  • Families

  • Palliative care services

  • Learning disability services

  • Academics
