Talking about death, dying and end-of-life care can sometimes bring up difficult thoughts or feelings. You may be reading this website because of your own experiences, or because someone close to you is unwell or has died.
The organisations listed below offer free advice, information and emotional support. They are independent from the DAPPLE project.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan support people affected by cancer, including patients, families and carers. They provide information and guidance, emotional support, financial advice, help with work and benefits, online community forums and access to local services.

Marie Curie
Marie Curie support individuals living with terminal illness, and their families and carers. They provide information about end-of-life care, nursing support, hospice care, bereavement support, and practical and emotional guidance.

Cruse Bereavement Support
Cruse support anyone who has experienced a bereavement. They have a confidential bereavement helpline, one-to-one and group support, specialist services for children and young people, online chat and resources.

Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder support people receiving palliative or end-of-life care, and those who are bereaved. They are providers of hospice care, and offer services such as grief and bereavement counselling, online bereavement services, and practical and emotional support.

NHS Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
PALS is for patients, families and carers who have questions or concerns about NHS care. They offer confidential advice and support with concerns or complaints about NHS services, information about NHS procedures, and liaison with healthcare providers.
