40. Christmas and New Year...they're not always fun and games!

As we seem to be hurtling towards Christmas and New Year, it seems important to remember that this time of year, for many of us, isn't all fun and games.

As a team, many of us find it to be a hard reflective time. How much longer will we have with our family who are getting older? We feel sadness as those we love aren't around and we miss them. We feel loneliness and worry about who we'll be spending time with and we even worry about the arguments that are likely to happen.

These worries, these feelings can hang heavy. And of course they are the type of worries many people are having at this time.

So, we just want to send our love to you. Be kind and gentle with yourself if it's a tender time for you.  Do the little things to look after yourself. No really... do them. Call that friend you love, have that warm bath, watch that favourite film. Whatever it is that lifts you or is a symbolic 'gift' to yourself. You are important in this world so please make sure you put yourself at the top of your priority list.

So, we sign off now wishing you a restful, gentle time and we'll see you soon.

Enjoy your 'warm bath'...
